What do you consider to be the most important issues facing your community, and how do you propose to address them?
One of the most important issues facing our community is the threat to our rural character from increasing development pressures. Tinicum’s open space, farmland, and natural beauty are part of what makes it such a special place to live, and I believe we must be proactive in protecting those qualities. That means supporting strong zoning that aligns with our Comprehensive Plan, advocating for conservation partnerships and ensuring that growth, where it happens is guided, deliberate, and in keeping with the values of our township.
Equally important is ensuring that all members of our community feel heard and represented. Tinicum is home to people with a range of backgrounds, experiences, and views, and it is vital that our local government is accessible, transparent, and responsive. I’m committed to open communication, regular public engagement, and decision-making that reflects the input of the entire community-not just the loudest voices.
By balancing preservation with thoughtful governance and by fostering respectful dialog, we can maintain the qualities that make Tinicum unique while building a stronger, more connected community for everyone.
Why are you running for this office?
I’m running for Supervisor because I care deeply about Tinicum-its natural beauty, its rural character, and the strong sense of place that makes it truly special. This township is more than just where we live; it’s a community that has been shaped by generations of people who worked hard to preserve its open space, protect its environment, and maintain its quiet, rural way of life.
I want to continue that tradition. I believe in thoughtful, careful leadership that respects what makes Tinicum unique while listening to the voices of everyone who calls it home. By serving, I hope to help protect what we all value about this place and ensure that the decisions we make today reflect a long-term vision for the future-one that honors the land, the people, and the character of our community.
What qualifications and experience do you have that will assist you in the performance of the duties of this office?
I bring a combination of professional experience, community involvement, and a deep understanding of the responsibilities of a Township Supervisor. I own and operate a business that manages commercial real estate, where I oversee everything from infrastructure and road upkeep to problem-solving with tenants, government entities, and public safety concerns. I also handle the financial management of all these areas, giving me hands-on experience in many of the same functions required of a supervisor.
Currently, I serve as a Tinicum Township Supervisor and understand both the day-to-day and long-term responsibilities of the role. I’m also actively involved with the community. I chair the Historical Commission, serve as Treasurer of the Tinicum Conservancy, and am a Trustee of the Tinicum Civic Association. I also volunteer regularly at the Stove Mill and the Tinicum Arts Festival. My academic background-a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-supports my ability to manage budgets, evaluate proposals, and make sound, informed decisions.
These experiences have prepared me to continue serving effectively and responsibly on behalf of our community.
